On Tap For Fri Dec 22, 2006

The following are some of the NYSE stocks that I will be keeping an eye on and possibly trading tomorrow. Obviously there may be news on other stocks that come out overnight or in the morning, so I may be trading those stocks as well.

The list for tomorrow is rather short and I'll probably only trade the morning. Here it is:

• Micron Technology Inc. (MU) reported after the bell today - it beat estimates by 4 cents and was trading up 4% in after hours
• Red Hat Inc. (RHT) also reported after the bell and beat by 2 cents - it was trading up by more than 13% during after hours
• Walgreen Company (WAG) will be reporting before the bell tomorrow - I will be watching for any surprises
• Carnival Corporation (CCL) was trading up today after it announced earnings that topped expectations - as an avid cruiser myself (and a 3-time Carnival guest) I'll watch to see where it goes from here
• I'm also going to watch Citigroup Inc. (C) just to see if it continues further from here or if it's just going to drop
• Circuit City Stores Inc. (CC) will also be on my radar - after announcing earnings on Monday there has been a lot of broker action on this stock (upgrades, downgrades, price target changes)
• I'll also continue to watch Rite Aid Corporation (RAD), General Electric Company (GE) and Pfizer Inc (PFE) to see what opportunities they can provide
