On Tap For Tue Dec 12, 2006
Here's the list:
- Safeway Inc. (SWY) had a strong day today as it announced a dividend increase and a stock buyback program; it's making new multi-year highs and there was a bullish mention by Cramer
- Texas Instruments Incorporated (TXN) lowered it's Q4 outlook in after hours
- Best Buy Co., Inc. (BBY) and Dollar General Corp. (DG) are reporting before the open tomorrow
- Corning Incorporated (GLW) has made it's way down near support at $20.00 - I'm watching this level
- Time Warner Inc. (TWX) burst upwards and looked strong today
- Citigroup Inc. (C) and DIRECTV Group Inc. (DTV) continued to show strength today - I'll probably be actively trading both of these issues tomorrow
- Motorola Inc (MOT) is probing support at $21.00 - I'm watching for this level to break (if it does)
- The Kroger Co. (KR) gapped up last week and after a slight pullback, it appears to be on the move again
- Continental Airlines Inc. (CAL) was very strong today after talk of possible bids/mergers involving UAL Corp. and Delta Airlines - it's making 52-week highs
