On Tap For Thu Dec 28, 2006
Talk about a skimpy list...there are not a lot of NYSE stocks in the news so most of these stocks have either an interesting chart or is approaching a significant level:
- Sempra Energy (SRE) upped guidance today and it traded up today
- Hecla Mining Company (HL) popped up and looks like it's broke through the $7.50 level - I couldn't find any news on this stock and it was up strongly on higher-than-normal volume
- Yesterday I told you I was watching the $55.50 level on Citigroup Inc. (C) and today it blasted it's way through it and rocketed higher and heavy volume...let's see where it goes from here
- I'm also watching AK Steel Holdings Corp (AKS) just to see if it can get itself definitively through resistance at around the $17.00 area
- Hewlett Packard Company (HPQ) was also strong today and made new 52-week highs - I'm watching to see where it goes
- Electronic Data Systems Corp (EDS) is another stock I'm watching to see if it can get through this resistance area - I'm watching to see if it can punch through the $28 level
- JP Morgan Chase & Co. (JPM) just touched the $49.00 level today, but didn't break it - I'm watching tomorrow to see if it can
- BellSouth Corporation (BLS) is yet another stock I'm watching to see if it can punch through resistance...I'm watching the $47.00 level
- Finally, I'm going to closely watch Time Warner Inc. (TWX) and General Electric Company (GE) just for any potential fat scalps
