I'll keep this post short and mainly just show the numbers as I have other things to attend to tonight.

Today I managed to keep a level head and tried not to overtrade. Not much action for most of the day, so I spent most of the time just sitting there waiting.

Aside from that, there isn't really much else to tell you about the day. I've just got to work on my patience a lot more...today seemed like a good day to hold onto positions and ride specific stock trends.

Two bad trades and two good trades.

Hopefully I can end the week on a good note (though it's options expiration Friday!)

Good Trades
9:49:01AM - Walmart (WMT) had finished tanking and looked like it was turning up while the Futures were starting to move up. I went long 4000 shares when WMT started bouncing up hard. I got out as follows: 4-cent winner (3000 shares), 6-cent winner (1000 shares) ($180 profit before fees ; Long 4000 shares @ $47.68 ; Out: 9:52:47AM)

1:04:03PM - Motorola (MOT) was moving up and so were the Futures. MOT reached some resistance at $22.50 and when it broke, I went long 10,000 shares. I got out as follows: 1-cent winner (5000 shares), 3-cent winner (5000 shares) ($200 profit before fees ; Long 10,000 shares @ $22.50 ; Out: 1:07:16PM)

Bad Trades
12:47:54PM - General Electric (GE) was flat and so were the Futures. GE was testing the $36.00 level for most of the morning and when it looked like it was about to break, I went long 10,000 shares. Well, it didn't break, so I bailed out for a 2-cent loser ($200 loser before fees ; Long 10,000 shares @ $36.00 ; Out: 12:48:52PM)

1:52:37PM - Home Depot (HD) was moving up and so were the Futures. HD had a very strong move up and when it popped up even further, I went long 3000 shares. Bad move - I was one of the few that ended up making a short-term high and prices came back down. I got everything out for a 5-cent loser ($150 loser before fees ; Long 3000 shares @ $37.65 ; Out: 1:53:45PM)
