I'm going to keep this short...I'm really feeling lethargic...I guess I just need some time to recover from the weekend (in other words, I need sleep).

In the morning I made my money (about $750 net) and after lunch I should have gone home. In fact, I was chit-chatting with another trader during lunch and I told him that I'd probably pack it up and head home after eating.

But after lunch I started feeling really tired (or lazy)....

So what did I do?

I just sat there...when I should have left and gone home, I just continued to sit there. Perhaps I was too tired (or lazy) to get up, pack up, and head home. Perhaps the thought of taking the subway home somehow felt like work and I was more content to just sit there and daydream.

In my half-sleep half-awake state, I guess I figured I could maybe make some more money, so I ended up staying for most of the afternoon.

But in the afternoon, I traded like a zombie. In fact, I was soo tired (or lazy) that I didn't even get up to get a coffee to try to wake myself up. Again, getting up and getting coffee seemed like work and I was more content to just sit there and stare at nothingness.

Every so often I'd kind of wake up and I tried to trade.

Well, the afternoon cost me about $170 (see my loss from top) and at around 3PM, I figure I should really go home instead of sitting there, losing money.

Anyways, I mostly traded EMC today...I had made more on it during the day, but I lost some of it during my afternoon trading.

There were a couple of good trades today and one bad trade...I'm not going to bother reviewing them...most of them were on 10,000 share positions so I ended up taking a few cents here and there.

Sorry folks for this lousy post...yesterday I missed my "On Tap" post because I was also too tired (or lazy) to get it out. Tonite I'll see how things fare...I may or may not post one up, depending on whether I'm too tired (or lazy)...hopefully I can stay awake long enough to do my nightly research...

Good Trades
Several on EMC.

Bad Trades
One bad one on MOT.

  • Gav, Bubs, and Dinko,
    Thanks for your comments.

Gav - yea, I sometimes get tired like that from time to time...probably the best thing would be to call it a day early and get some good rest.

Bubs - hehehe...it's getting more and more difficult now that it's winter...it's a lot colder and darker in the mornings and you just don't want to get out of bed

Dinko - thanks for the compliments...I'm glad to have you aboard. Let's see where my trading goes from here.

    Good trading to all!
